The Agiou Antoniou Chapel is situated in the village of Peristerona in the Nicosia district. More specifically the chapel is located west of the Agion Varnava and Ilarionos Church , which is the main church of the village.
According to tradition the chapel was built over the remains of an older chapel which was possibly destroyed due to the passing of time.
Architecturally the chapel is made up of one room, it has an arched roof and it dated to the 18th century. Its exterior is made of stone and it has been maintained with the assistance of the community. There is a wooden bell tower to the southwest of the chapel.
The interior of the church is simple and plat without the existence of hagiographies. The wooden templo was recently restored in the year 2003. The icons which surround it are also new.
The chapel operates on the 17th of January, which is when Agios Antonios is celebrated, as well as for all of January.
