The Agiou Georgiou Chapel is situated in the village of Peristerona in the Nicosia district. More specifically, it is situated towards the north of the village in the cemetery.
The chapel was built during the 18th and 19th century. It is a small chapel made up of one room with an arched roof. The exterior is made of stone. The interior of the chapel is very simple, with a wooden templo dated to the 20th century. The holy icons that surround it are also a recent addition of the 20th century.
The chapel operated many times during the year. All the funeral services and the psychosabbaths take place in this chapel. Agios Georgios celebrates on the 23rd of April and on the 3rd of November, which is the day of the collection of the relics of the Saint.
