Lemba Park - Valley is situated in the village of Lemba in the Paphos district. The large community park has an extent of 40 hectares located at the sides of the Argakiou tou Taisi, which passes through the centre of the community.
The park is appropriate for both visitors and nature lovers, with all the facilities that make it ideal for walking and studying nature.
The Lemba Community board recently received funds, which was used along with the assistance of the Forest Department to maintain, improve and extend the creation of new nature trails within the park. There are four natural water springs that have been improved, which flow nearly all year round irrigating the park as well as the valley. They are the same water sources that have flown for thousands of years. These water sources have also made the community of Lemba the first centre of glazed ceramic construction in Cyprus (1300 – 1400 A.D).
There is also a natural cave near the water spring with stalactite remains. All these along with the seamless view towards the sea, make the Lemba Valley unique. Due to the importance of the park, the community has managed to place a part of the park in a protection zone, and the rest in a white zone. The aim of the community board is to place the complete park into a protection zone in order to preserve its long-term protection.
