The Gerovasa - Trozena Waterfalls (also called Paradision Waterfalls ) are located in the Gerovasa Trozena village in the Limassol district. The community was made up of two settlements, Gerovasa and Trozena which had formed one community. Unfortunately the community has now been abandoned.
More specifically the waterfalls are situated near the Agiou Georgiou Chapel. The waterfalls of Gerovasa - Trozena could possibly be among the largest and highest waterfalls in Cyprus.
The waterfalls are surrounded by a beautiful environment with rich and very thick vegetation. The water pours from a cliff of about 80 metres into the canyon below and is much greater during the winter and spring months.
It is a wonder which will create admiration and visitors will enjoy the magnificent experience the waterfall creates. Both locals and tourists can visit the waterfalls as they are easily accessed by car.
Apart from creating a magnificent view, and making you understand the beauty of nature, the water that falls provides the surrounding land of the Diarizos valley making it richer.
