Agiou Konstantinou and Agias Eleni Church - Deryneia Village

The Church of Agiou Konstantinou and Agias Eleni  is located in the village of Deryneia in the Ammochostos district.

More specifically it is situated on Akropoleos street and has a roof with intersecting arcs. What is impressive about this church is that there is a well that begins from an underground tunnel (Lagoumi) of a 300 length, which transfers water to the surface in the area of Pervoloudi.

The project was constructed during the Frank-Venetian period, in which in the water was transported through an open stone groove to the Medieval Settlements of “Koumantatas” (Pome d' Adam), and Lainas which are located within the occupied part of the municipality today.
