The Dasoudi KOT beach is located in the Germasogeia – heart of the tourist area- in the Limassol district. The beach has all the fascilities for a great day out and is considered to be the most popular beach front in town.
The coast covers an extent of 1, 5 kilometres covered with thin sand. The water, as well as the whole extent of the beach is not especially deep and is suitable for fun and games for small children.
The facilities at the beach include toilets, showers, changing rooms, sunbeds, umbrellas, water sports and a diving centre as well as a small volleyball court, a playground, a bicycle rack, and a swimming pool.
The beach has a small forest (dasoudi) which is located next to it with a beautiful nature trail passing through it. This also the reason why it is such a popular location for a walk, jogging and relaxing on the surrounding benches.
Visitors can choose between organised facilities and the more quite places under the eucalyptus and pine trees behind the sandy coast.
The area is filled with a variety of restaurants, fish taverns, cafes, bars, kiosks and accommodation areas.
During April until October between 09:00-17:00 (until 18:00 during the summer period) there are lifeguards on duty along with lifeguard equipment and first aid services.
The beach also offers wheelchair access, including the use of a special wheelchair on the lifeguard tower so that they can enter the sea without the help of the lifeguards.
Access is easy on foot, by bike, by bus or car and there is a parking area as well as a bus stop nearby.
