Afelia are small pieces of pork cooked with red dry wine and crushed coriander.
Afelia is a traditional Cypriot recipe and it is a very popular dish here in Cyprus.
The meat is marinated with the wine and the herbs from the night before or at least three hours before cooking it.
The meat is then cooked in a pot with salt and water.
Afelia are usually served with patates antinahtes or pourgouri and yogurt.
