Venetian Bridges are part of a hidden treasure that are located at the valleys of rivers. Locating them will not leave you untouched, as these bridges are usually surrounded by scenic images and unique peaceful sounds from nature.
Mylos Bridge is located in the area of Marathasa and connects the inaccessible areas of the villages Treis Elies and Kaminaria, with the Mylos River flowing under it. It is a semi-circular one arched stone bridge of the Venetian period, which was previously part of a trail that lead to the area of Morphou from Paphos.
The bridge is literally filled with green vegetation making it difficult to reach. At a short distance from the bridge is another one of the medieval period, the Treis Elies Bridge as well as the ruins of a temple dedicated to Agios Andronikos.
A nature trail starts from the bridge, and continues for about 2, 5 kilometres ending at the location Orpolis. It is an easy trail that passes by remarkable sites in the area offering a view along its length. Along the way there are benches on which visitors can sit and enjoy the magical scenery from.
