Appearance: The cat snake - Telescopous Fallax length can reach up to 1 metre and the ones usually found have a length of around 70 to 80 cm. Its colour is yellow with greyish brown large diamonds along its body. The snake has small eyes with vertical pupils
Habitat: You can find this snake in all heights, in open, forest areas as well as residential areas. This snake can lay 6 to 8 eggs.
Diet: It mainly feeds on small mammals as well as lizards. The cat snake hunts at dawn and dusk and it kills its prey with venom and then swallows the victim.
Dangerousness: It is not poisonous for humans but it kills its prey with poison. When it feels in danger it moves closely and bites very fast.
