The Anassa beach took its name from the hotel which is built there, the Anassa Hotel.

The road where the hotel and the surrounding area, is filled with trees, bushes and other wildlife.

As all the beaches in the Polis Chrysochous area it is a pebbly beach, which becomes deep once you go in at about 3 metres.

It is also worth mentioning that there are a few restaurants in the area apart from the hotel where tourist and locals can enjoy tradditional Cypriot cuisine.

Lastly, there is also a lifeguard on duty and water sports available for hire near the hotel.
