The Evagora Palikaridi Museum is located in Tsada Village in the Paphos district.
The ministry board decided on the expropriation of the paternal House of Evagora Pallikaridi in 1997. The Council of Historical Memory of EOKA 1955-1959 took on the responsibility for the restoration of the house and its transformation into a Museum dedicated to the hero of the freedom fight. The project was completed and inaugurated by the Ministry of Education in 2001.
In the first room of the house, the traditional farm life during the 20th century which the hero also lived in is presented. The second room presents the life and the fights of the teenage-hero in the freedom fight. Through photos, letters and articles the hero-poet shows his morality and his great personality.
The aim of the House-Museum of Evagora Pallikaridi is to form a cultural centre. This is why the amphitheatre was built to accommodate up to 250 people. The operation of the museum has been taken over by the Management Committee of the Evagora Pallikaridi House-Museum , in which family members and freedom fighters also take part in.
