The Gialia beach is located in the village of Gialia , outside of Polis Chrysochous in the Paphos district.
It is a large beach that has a length of 10 kilometres and a width of 25 metres. This beach is made up of sand and rocks and starts from Polis Chrysochous reaching the village of Gialia.
It is one of the most important beaches of Cyprus, because it belongs to the Natura 2000 network.
The network is a European ecological network which includes areas that accommodate natural habitats and habitats of species that are considered important at a European level.
