Glyki Nero or Grecian Bay beach is one of the main beaches in Ayia Napa with crystal clear waters. This beach, is the one closest to the centre of Ayia Napa, starting at the harbour and stretches eastwards towards the sea caves of Ayia Napa.

Grecian bay beach has many names including the Limanaki beach, Harbour beach, Town beach, Grecian bay and Glyki nero. Only three of those names are official though and those are for the three stretches of sand which make up the beach. Loukkas Tou manti - the one closest to the harbour, Pantachou in the centre and lastly the Glyki Nero which means sweet water in english.

It is a very beautiful beach, made up of a long stretch of white sand which spreads from the harbour towards the Ayia Napa sea caves. It is also considered a safe beach and therefore preferable for families with children. Kiosks, snack bars and a number of restaurants can be found so that visitors can enjoy lunch or  refreshments. Visitors who love water sports can find various options such as pedaloes with slides, jet skis, parasailing and much more.

Grecian bay can be accessed directly from the town centre and is very near to many hotels and apartments therefore many visitors can access the beach walking.
